Happy New Year 2009!

We have had a lot going on. Our unit for this month is Sea Life. Everyday, the children are learning about animals and plants that live under water. We are enjoying various art and music activities that include Sea Life. A special thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Auld, Landers's parents, for sharing all of their Sea Life collection with the class.

Some children are taking reading works to practice at home. Please make sure to return the books the next day so other children can have the opportunity to participate.

We are constantly practicing our Letter sounds, and playing games that involve quantity and patterns.

During the month of February, we will be having a Valentine's Celebration Party. If you would like your child to participate, you are welcome to bring Valentine's cards, but only put your child's name on the cards. It is easier to distribute them if they are not personalized. There are 12 children in the class. I will also be posting a contribution list on the board if you would like to donate something for our Valentine Celebration.
