Dear Parents,

As the saying goes, "Time Flies Fast".

The school year is almost half way through. I am very pleased with the children's accomplishments. Their minds are like sponges, absorbing everything that the prepared environment is giving them.

In Math, the four fundamental operations have been introduced; starting with addition. Using concrete materials, they will be able to know the concept of addition. Later, you will be surprised that your child can add mentally.

In Language, the children continue to read the next set of books. Simultaneously, the children are working on with writing.

Our unit for the month of January is about Mammals. Again, if you have anything to share, please don't hesitate to. The children are interested in mammals.

A few reminders before I close. Our Valentine's Party will be on February 13, Friday, and a sign up sheet will be posted soon. Don't forget to check your child's cubbie for extra clothes. Always bring a sweater or a jacket and a small blanket, your child uses this in the cold season.
