A warm greeting to you all. I would like to thank you for all the foods and goodies you shared with the children on Valentine‘s Day. It’s nice to see them experiencing “sharing” with the other children.

The school year is almost over but the children are still enjoying the work in all the subject areas prepared for them. In Language, the children are writing more and have shown great improvement in the way they hold the pencil and the way they write on lined paper. They are read ing the Bob Books, Animal Artic Phonetic Books, and Discovery Toys Reading Program for advanced Reading.

In Math, they are still enjoying addition, and some have been adding mentally. They have been introduced to subtraction and division.

For this month, our special unit will be Geography. The children will be learning the different land forms and the continents. It will be interesting for the children.

On March 23 rd, at 10am, volunteers from the Concord Police Department will be coming to talk to the children about “Traffic Safety”.
