A warm welcome to our class; Joshua and Alison.

Thank you to the parents who participated on Valentine’s Day. The children enjoyed themselves very much.

The school year is nearing an end, and we are very proud of the progress the children have made. They work very hard each day in all of the academic areas.

In Math, we continue to learn how to count and recognize numbers up to ten. In Language, we have been working on phonetic sounds, recognition of their first and last names, parent’s name s, etc.

We are continuing to work on shapes and colors, as well as pre reading activities such as sorting and matching.

Last month, the children learned about zoo animals. This month, our special unit will take us to the fascinating world of farm animals.

Parents, please remember to check if your child has an appropriate set of extra clothes in his/her cubbie. If your child is not potty trained please make sure they have enough diapers. For those who are working on potty training remember that they still use diapers during naptime.
