Dear Parents,

I would like to thank you for your help and support when the children had their first field trip this school year. I also appreciate your contributions to our Halloween Party. The children were proud of the food they shared with the class.

November is another special month because of the upcoming Thanksgiving Day Lunch that will be held at the Fellowship Hall, on November 23, 2011. Again, we will be posting a sign up sheet if you would like to contribute anything.

In the learning areas, we will have new activities that they will work on. In Math, the children are learning about linear counting that includes the teen counting, Positive Snake game, ten board, hundred bead chain and hundred board, 1000 bead chain and skip counting.

In Language, the children are still reading the book series, and they are writing the letters.

In our special unit, the children will learn about Amphibians. Please feel to share anything you have about amphibians.

Thank you,

Miss Nida

From The Director

I would like to thank everybody for the contributions and help during our Halloween Celebration and Parade. The children had a great time and we enjoyed seeing them in their wonderful costumes.

“Cookie Dough Fundraiser”

orders are due on Thursday, November 10th. We hope you get good sales with family and friends.

“Prevent Blindness America” conducted their annual vision screening for children 3 ½ years and older. Parents should have received a letter with your child’s results.

The Holiday season is approaching. This is time for togetherness and sharing. On Wednesday, November 23rd, we will be having our traditional “Thanksgiving Feast”, starting at 11:30, in The Fellowship Hall of the Church building. A sign up sheet will be posted in your child’s classroom if you would like to contribute with something. You are also welcome to dress your child in formal attire for this occasion. Parents are welcome to join us.

Mr. Andy will be out from November 22nd through November 30rrd. Miss Tammy will be taking the class during this time.

Thank you for attending Parent/Teacher conferences.

Thank you,

Miss Delmy
